Vince Gill Honored His Wife, Amy Grant, At The Grand Ole Opry In Nashville, After She Was Injured In An Accident Earlier This Week.

On Thursday, country singer Vince Gill used a song he wrote for his wife and fellow singer Amy Grant to show love for her after a bike accident left her with a concussion. Gill and their daughter Corrina performed “When My Amy Prays” during his residency at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. According to an Instagram post by @countrymusicnewsdaily , “Last night Vince performed his second concert of a four night residency at the Ryman. He informed the crowd that Amy was getting better every day after a bike crash last week that left her unconscious for about 10 minutes and with a concussion (along with various cuts and bruises).”

In a recent performance, singer-songwriter Amy Grant’s husband and fellow musician, Steven Curtis Chapman, changed a line in their song “When My World Was Younger” to accommodate for the injuries his wife had sustained in a car accident.
